Dr. Diana Stripp received her M.D. degree from Robert
Wood Johnson Medical School before completing her residency
in radiation oncology at the University of Pennsylvania.
She then joined the teaching faculty as an assistant
professor at the University of Pennsylvania School of
Medicine. She was awarded the Glasgow Memorial Achievement
Award by the American Medical Women’s Association,
and also received the Radiation Oncology Teaching Award
from the University of Pennsylvania in 2004 and 2005.
As a faculty member, she participated
in the Institutional Review Board of the University
of Pennsylvania and the American Board of Radiology
Written Examination Task Force. Dr. Stripp has been
an expert auditor for the Cancer Therapy Evaluation
Program (CTEP) of the National Cancer Institute. Dr.
Stripp is known for her particular interest in the treatment
of head and neck cancers and for her skill in the use
of interstitial brachytherapy for prostate and other
cancers.
